Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. It gives people the "skills for the job of living," with focus on skills necessary for independent and satisfying lives. We are open five days a week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for Occupational Therapy services.
Services typically include, but are not limited to:
- Customized treatment programs to improve one's ability to perform daily activities
- Comprehensive home evaluations with adaptation recommendations
- Performance skills assessments and treatment options
- Assessing adaptive equipment needs and provide training
- Guidance and education for family members and caregivers
- Cranio-sacral therapy
- Myofascial therapy
- Outpatient orthopedic, neurological and pediatric services
- Evaluations for disability hunting licenses
- Customized splint fabrications
Some examples of impairments commonly treated include:
- Chronic headaches
- Upper body/arm injuries, including post-surgical issues
- Elbow, Hand and finger difficulties
- After a stroke or other neurological impairments
- Pediatric developmental delays
