Tara Morgan, APNP, joins the BAHC Medical Staff

Tara will provide primary care for patients at Riverside Family Practice in Muscoda and in BAHC's Walk-In/Urgent Care Center.

As a nurse practitioner, Tara will provide a variety of primary care services: Diagnose and treat illnesses; manage chronic diseases; prescribe and manage medications; perform well-child checks, sports physicals, and annual exams. She is qualified to care for a patient throughout his/her entire lifespan.

Tara has been providing care as a nurse practitioner at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Tara said she chose to work in Muscoda and Boscobel because "I really appreciate rural healthcare and the knowledge it takes to practice as a rural provider. You see a broader patient base in a rural area."

Tara also enjoys the diversity of patients that a family practice environment provides. "I really believe there is a solution for every individual. The key to a successful provider-patient relationship is working with the patient to find the best plan of care for his or her condition."

"Providing patient care is more than providing an occasional prescription; it involves developing trust, understanding, and the faith that your provider will help manage your health in the best way possible," said Tara.
