Scholarships available to students interested in healthcare careers

Scholarships are currently available for students who wish to pursue careers in healthcare. The Boscobel Area Health Care Board of Directors, Partners, and Foundation (Slaman Family Scholarship) all offer scholarships to help individuals pay for their education in healthcare.

Board Scholarship

The Boscobel Area Health Care Board of Directors Scholarships offers seven $500.00 scholarships to eligible graduates of Boscobel, River Ridge, Riverdale, Fennimore, Wauzeka, and North Crawford High Schools. Applications are due March 15th.

Partners Scholarship

The Boscobel Area Health Care Partners Scholarship will sponsor one Health Care Professional Scholarship in the amount of $500.00. Applications are due March 15th.

Slaman Family Scholarship

The Slaman Family Scholarship is available to employees of BAHC and their spouses or legal dependants. The scholarship is to encourage individuals to pursue a post-secondary education in Nursing. Two scholarships will be awarded in 2012 for those applicants who qualify. One $500 scholarship for a full-time student in nursing (12 credits or more) and one $250 scholarship for a part-time student (minimum of 6 credits) in nursing or in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. Applications are due March 15th.
