Partners Membership Drive a Success!

More than 75 people signed up to support rural healthcare at the Boscobel Area Health Care Partners membership drive. President Patsy Pippin says they have already exceeded last year's membership of 55 active members, and still have memberships coming in.

"We are very happy with how our membership drive went. Volunteer organizations in general are experiencing a decline in involvement, so we were very surprised and happy to see our membership increase significantly," said Pippin.

The Partners organization is dedicated to ensuring quality healthcare locally by supporting Boscobel Area Health Care and through various health education projects.

In addition to the many fundraising projects they sponsor, the Partners provide volunteer support to the hospital. They currently run the greeter program and the gift shop.

Boscobel Area Health Care partners are very involved at the state level, and recently had four members attend the Western District meeting for the state Partners' organization. The October district meeting will be held in Boscobel.
