Open house will allow public to see hospital expansion prior to opening
Boscobel Area Health Care is inviting the public for a sneak preview of their new addition during an Open House, Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, 2008. Saturday will include a health fair; Sunday will feature physician speakers Dr. Moses and Dr. Yurcek. Both days will include free health screenings and guided tours of the facility. Expanding to Meet Your Needs
Boscobel Area Health Care is expanding to meet the medical needs of the community. An April grand opening is set for the10,000 square addition that will feature state-of-the-art technology and allow increased space for services. The new addition will serve primarily as a new emergency room and walk-in care clinic, but will also feature clinic space for visiting specialists, expanded waiting areas, and a central registration station. Family Safety Night attracts more than 300 people
More than 300 people came to the 14th Annual Family Safety Night held March 14, 2008, to learn about a variety of health and wellness topics, ranging from hunting safety to sports injury prevention. Read full article.
Riverdale students take virtual tour of body during the "Body Walk"
Boscobel Area Health Care and Riverdale Elementary School teamed up to take students K-12 on an virtual adventure through the human body. Students entered the gym by crawling through a model of the mouth, continuing through the esophagus, the stomach, intestines, bones, muscles, heart, and lungs. New surgeon joins BAHC Healthcare Team
A new physician was recently welcomed aboard the BAHC surgical team. Dr. Chris Hugo joins two other general surgeons, Dr. Roger Rademacher and Dr. James Yurcek, and a team of specialty surgeons, to enhance surgical procedures offered at BAHC. Read full article.

Scott Walker, MD, Fennimore, has been named the 2008 Wisconsin Medical Society Physician Citizen of the Year. Walker's nomination was put forth by community members, patients, colleagues, and others for his tireless efforts as Medical Director of the free clinic in Boscobel. Read full article.

Boscobel Area Health Care Pharmacy Director Doug Knoble will have a three-minute segment on the nationally televised MDTV show on Fox 47.
