BAHC Annual Meeting scheduled for January 24, 2012
Boscobel Area Health Care (BAHC) will hold the annual meeting of the association on January 24, 2011 in the facility's cafeteria, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the annual meeting is to share with the community progress made during the past year, elect members to the board, and provide an opportunity for public input.
"As a community owned, not-for-profit hospital, we encourage public participation in this event and seek community input," said Dr. Dick Rogers, Boscobel Area Health Care Interim Administrator.
Persons interested in becoming an association member can do so that evening. The cost is one dollar. Membership is open to adult residents within a 20-mile radius of Boscobel Area Health Care, or to current employees at any BAHC facility. Membership is good for one year, and is renewed every year at the annual meeting.
The board election will include three seats. Current Board Members Linda Mezera and Maria O'Connor Miles are both up for election; both intend to run for an additional term. Dr. William Fast has served his maximum three consecutive terms and will vacate the medical staff board seat. Dr. Kurt Wilhelm has applied for the seat.
