Dignified, compassionate care in a home-like environment is what the staff at Boscobel Area Health Care promises their residents. "This is your home, and we are hired guests in your home," emphasizes Director of Nursing Michaell Bell.
Residents are encouraged to carry on with their daily activities and recreation as they wish. "If you want to sleep in and have a late breakfast, or leave the facility for a walk, that is your right," says Social Worker Tracy Atkinson. "This is not an institution. This is your home, and we respect your lifestyle and your decisions." Our team works with residents and their families to develop individual care plans for each resident, ensuring that their wishes are met and their experience is based on their needs and values.
