Our Leadership
Caring for the community, with the community |
![]() When my father and grandfather joined other physicians and community members to build a hospital in Boscobel in 1952, they knew it would be a large-scale community effort. I was able to witness the same power of community when we opened an 11,000 square foot addition in 2008. The new emergency room and urgent care center would not have happened without the support of the community. More than 130 volunteers, 600 donors, and $1 million dollars in personal contributions resulted in increased services and updated technology for the people we serve. It was with great pride that the board welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors to our open house in April. Boscobel Area Health Care stays true to its roots as a community owned, community focused organization. Prevention, wellness, community education, and timely access to healthcare ensure a high quality of life for the people we serve. Thank you for your support this past year. Sincerely,
Mark Randall, President |
Exceptional service by exceptional people |
![]() When I began at Boscobel Area Health Care in April 2008, the organization's greatest strengths were immediately obvious - our employees and the people we serve. I have had the privilege of meeting many of our patients, residents, families, rescue squad workers, and other community members who interact with Boscobel Area Health Care and rely on our services. 2009 will build on these strengths, with patient satisfaction and employee engagement our focal point. Boscobel Area Health Care will continue to center on the needs of our employees and the people we serve, measuring satisfaction and developing action plans to continue to improve our services and work place culture. It is human nature to work harder and care more when you have a personal investment. That is why I am confident that the care we offer here in Boscobel for our friends and neighbors is the best care available. 2008 saw the opening of a new addition, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. But it is the small town compassion and the dedication of our staff that makes the health care services we offer truly exceptional. Sincerely,
John Russell, Administrator |
