Boscobel Area Health Care Foundation
Boscobel Area Health Care Foundation plays a tremendous role in expanding the healthcare services available to our communities. The Foundation supports Boscobel Area Health Care through new equipment, capital improvements, and staff development.
In 2011, the Foundation purchased new equipment for the Hospital including a physical therapy training machine, a microscope for lab diagnosis, an adjustable exam table for radiology, equipment to provide worksite wellness services, a blanket warmer for med/surg patients, and improved services for newborn babies.
Heart disease patients not eligible for surgery can still improve the quality of their lives with the new EECP (Enhanced External Counter Pulsation) unit. BAHC can now offer this unique new therapy in cardiac rehab because of recent funding by the Foundation.
